–An elderly man dies-
*Small house in Hermsdorf, Berlin* An elderly woman breaks down in tears, feeling tremendous heartache and unbearable sorrow. A young man weeps; in denial.
-An elderly woman faints-
*Pouring, gloomy Sunday morning in a court for a hearing* An old judge appears and states the misfortune of a young man… The young man whose father lost his life, his mother who’s lost her spirit and his father’s warehouse who is in debt. The judge states, “Godfrey Heimrich, you are to inherit the warehouse as you are the only offspring of the late Hartwig Heimrich, and therefore are liable for all the debts your late father owes… So I hereby announce you a warehouseman…”
-Seconds, Minutes, Hours, and Days Later-
*On a dusty timber floor in the attic of an old worn down warehouse* Godfrey Heimrich now a warehouseman… Just 20 of age… not knowing about the rejected detail warehouse, the debts that he now is in, the business that he is supposed to run… He does not know what to do… Lying there… All alone… Lying there in a delusional state… Taking everything for granted… Losing all sign of faith and hope in his amber eyes… Just lying there, soulless and incomplete… Thinking of the what ifs’ and maybes”… Everything now seems so empty, so dark, and so surreal…
